India has no intention to escalate the scenario with Pakistan but when there are navy assaults on the nation, then it is going to be met with a “very” agency response, Exterior Affairs Minister S Jaishankar mentioned on Thursday.
Mr Jaishankar made the remarks at a gathering with Iranian International Minister Abbas Araghchi.
The exterior affairs minister mentioned the “barbaric” Pahalgam terror assault compelled India to hold out strikes on “cross-border” terror infrastructure on Wednesday.
“This assault compelled us to reply on Might 7 by placing on the cross-border terrorist infrastructure. Our response was focused and measured,” he mentioned.
“It isn’t our intention to escalate the scenario. Nevertheless, if there are navy assaults on us, there needs to be little question that it is going to be met with a really very agency response,” he mentioned.
