NEW DELHI: New Delhi and a number of other parts of northern India have been shaken by robust earthquake tremors early Monday morning. The sudden jolts prompted residents to hurry out of their properties in panic.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 4.0 on the Richter Scale, struck at 05:36:55 IST, startling folks out of their sleep.
The earthquake was felt throughout the capital area and neighbouring states, though no instant stories of injury or casualties have emerged.
