LAS VEGAS — Manny Pacquiao is not finished with boxing but and can return to the ring on April 18 to face former junior welterweight world champion Ruslan Provodnikov in a 10-round welterweight exhibition.
Pacquiao, 47, final fought July 19 towards WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios, dropping by majority draw. Two of the judges scored it a draw and Max DeLuca awarded Barrios a 115-113 victory.
The loss dropped Pacquiao’s report to 62-9-2.
“Returning to Las Vegas means a lot to me, and I’m excited to work with a staff centered on making a world-class expertise for the followers,” Pacquiao mentioned in an announcement. “I’m coming again to give them an incredible battle — and I’m prepared.”
The bout will probably be on the Thomas & Mack Heart, which hosted various notable fights in the Nineties earlier than the development of MGM Grand Backyard Enviornment after which T-Cell Enviornment that grew to become the first properties for Las Vegas’ high matches.
