Drug peddler externed from Mysuru
Mysuru: Metropolis Police Commissioner Seema Latkar, in a bid to management rowdy actions within the metropolis, had ordered the arrest and externment of a rowdy sheeter by invoking Karnataka Goonda Act and Karnataka Police Act.
The rowdy sheeter, who was arrested and externed to Shivamogga Central Jail, is 25-yr-previous Ganesh alias Ganapa, a driver and shamiyana employee at Janata Structure, Ok.P. Nagar in metropolis.
A resident of Vidyaranyapuram, Ganesh was concerned in common rowdy actions together with assault. He had three instances registered in opposition to him at Vidyaranyapuram Police Station, one case every in Krishnaraja (KR), T. Narasipur and Yelwal Police Stations.
Regardless of many instances being registered in opposition to him, Ganesh didn’t mend his methods and was incessantly concerned in rowdy actions disturbing peace and instilling worry among the many public.
In a bid to management his rowdy actions, Extra Deputy Commissioner and Metropolis Police Commissioner, on Feb. 14, by invoking Karnataka Goonda Act issued an arrest order, following which rowdy sheeter Ganesh was arrested on Feb. 15 and externed to Shivamogga Central Jail.
Additionally, the Police, invoking Karnataka Police Act 1965, Column 55A, have externed 51-yr-previous Manjunath, a resident of Ok.N. Pura in Kyathamaranahalli to Sagar City Police limits in Shivamogga district.
Manjunath was commonly concerned in sale and transportation of ganja. He had three instances (one case every in Udayagiri, Lashkar and Bhadravathi Police Stations) underneath NDPS Act registered in opposition to him. Additionally, he was concerned in lots of home housebreaking instances by becoming a member of palms together with his confederate Kunta Manja.
He had instances of housebreaking and home breaking theft instances registered in opposition to him at Saraswathipuram, Vidyaranyapuram, Kuvempunagar, Vijayanagar and Mandya Rural Police Stations.
To curb his unlawful actions, an exterment order was issued in opposition to him following which he was arrested on Feb. 15 and externed to Sagar City Police limits in Shivamogga district.
