More than 200 Venezuelan political prisoners had been on hunger strike Sunday to demand their launch beneath a brand new amnesty regulation that excludes lots of them. The inmates on the Rodeo I jail, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) east of capital Caracas, shouted to their family members as a part of the protest.
