The Authorities of Jammu and Kashmir has activated devoted helpline numbers to help residents of the Union Territory returning from Iran, following an advisory issued by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026.
In response to a round issued by the J&K Resident Fee, New Delhi, the helplines have been made operational to supply essential help and coordination for returnees.
The round states that the helpline companies will stay useful round the clock to facilitate help.
The notified helpline numbers embody “Good day J&K” at 7303620090 and the Management Room numbers 011-24611108 and 011-24611210.
The round, dated February 25, 2026, has been issued for wider dissemination amongst involved authorities, together with the Ministry of Exterior Affairs, J&K Police, and the J&K Bureau of Data, for making certain well timed help to affected residents. (KNC)
