The Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department acquired 1,346 applications for establishing bars in 25 notified areas throughout the State. The transfer comes after the division invited new bar licences to interchange beforehand closed institutions, with a deadline set for April 26.
As per the information shared by the division, Warangal emerged as probably the most wanted location, with the Better Warangal Municipal Company (GWMC) receiving as many as 491 applications for 4 notified bars. Meerpet in Saroornagar additionally noticed important curiosity, with 200 applications submitted for a single notified location.
Amongst different districts, Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district acquired 226 applications for one notified bar whereas Khammam recorded 145 applications for two notified bars. Adilabad district reported 61 applications for three notified areas.

Medak city acquired 20 applications for one notified bar, whereas Nizamabad city noticed 53 applications throughout three bars and Armoor registered eight applications for one bar. Kodangal in Vikarabad district attracted 9 applications.
Excise officers will now consider the submissions to make sure they meet the required tips, with an emphasis on sustaining transparency in the course of the allotment course of.
