NEW DELHI: The Reserve Financial institution of India (RBI) on Friday introduced a revision within the interchange fee and buyer costs for Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and Money Recycler Machines (CRMs), rising them by Rs 2 for transactions past the permitted free restrict.. The new fee construction will come into impact from Could 1, 2025.
As per the revised pointers, prospects are eligible to 5 free transactions per thirty days (together with each monetary and non-monetary transactions) at ATMs of their very own financial institution. Moreover, they’re allowed three free transactions at different financial institution ATMs in metro cities and 5 in non-metro places.
Past these limits, prospects could also be charged up to Rs 23 per transaction
