Best Purchase mentioned Thursday it can test mini-showrooms in a few of its stores that includes Ikea merchandise to indicate off kitchen design parts from the house retailer beside house home equipment from the electronics retailer.
Starting this fall, this system will debut in 10 Best Purchase stores throughout Florida and Texas. Every retailer will function a 1,000-square-foot Ikea “shop-in-shop” showcasing styled kitchens and laundry rooms.
“By bringing collectively our house furnishing experience, merchandise, and companies with Best Purchase’s management in home equipment and expertise, we’re making a one-stop vacation spot the place prospects can design their dream kitchen, storage options or laundry area with ease,” Rob Olson, chief operation officer of Ikea U.S. mentioned in a Thursday press launch.
The businesses didn’t disclose monetary elements of the partnership.
IKEA is the Swedish flat-pack furnishings large, whereas Best Purchase is among the United States’ prime client digital stores.
The partnership comes as Best Purchase seems for new methods to draw consumers.
The corporate has struggled these days with rising tariff pressures, a mushy demand in home equipment, and a sluggish housing market. Best Purchase mentioned this spring that it had elevated costs on some objects as a consequence of tariffs.
