The FCC, the company that regulates the media and telecommunications trade, mentioned in a letter dated Tuesday that it might open the inquiry into each Comcast — which gives broadband, cellular and cable TV companies beneath the Xfinity model — and NBCUniversal, the media arm that encompasses the corporate’s broadcast and cable TV networks, streaming app Peacock, and Common movie studio and amusement parks.
The letter comes three weeks after President Donald Trump signed an govt order seeking to finish DEI practices at U.S. firms.
