HCC and Tata Tasks Restricted have been awarded a ₹2,470 crore contract by Tata Power Firm Restricted to assemble the Bhivpuri Off-Stream Open-Loop Pumped Storage Project in Karjat, Maharashtra, in accordance to a press launch issued at this time.
The 50:50 three way partnership will construct a 1000 MW capability facility consisting of 4 items (2×333 MW + 2×167 MW). The contract encompasses complete civil and hydro-mechanical elements together with dams, tunnels, consumption constructions, and a powerhouse.
Scope of labor
The scope of labor consists of setting up a coffer dam, consumption constructions on the current Thokerwadi higher reservoir, head race tunnels, penstock, surge shaft, strain shaft, powerhouse, tail race tunnel, and a brand new decrease reservoir with GFRD dam.
