Amazon will not be publishing the upcoming open world driving sport from UK studio Maverick Games.
The corporate confirmed the information in an announcement to The Games Enterprise and instructed the title was jettisoned as a part of a wider “strategic evolution.”
The information comes simply days after Amazon confirmed it could be shutting down UGC dungeon brawler King of Meat after six months.
“As a part of our strategic evolution to give attention to tasks that leverage Amazon’s distinctive strengths and scale, together with the latest re-launch of Luna and our Tomb Raider franchise partnership with Crystal Dynamics, we’ve got determined to launch Maverick Games from their publishing settlement with Amazon Recreation Studios,” reads the assertion.
