Iranian police have dispersed a weeks-long sit-in by demonstrators supporting the obligatory head protecting for girls, state media reported, after authorities deemed the gathering unlawful.
The demonstrators — largely girls in black full-body robes — staged the sit-in since final month outdoors the parliament constructing in Tehran.
