The US Embassy in Poland introduced that it could reduce ties with Polish parliamentary speaker Wlodzimierz Czarzasty after he stated that President Donald Trump didn’t deserve a Nobel Peace Prize.
On Monday, Czarzasty denounced Trump’s tariff insurance policies and his plan to annex Greenland from Denmark. He additionally criticized the president for downplaying the contribution of America’s NATO allies in the course of the warfare in Afghanistan. Czarzasty denied any wrongdoing. “I persistently respect the US as Poland’s key associate. That’s the reason I regretfully settle for Ambassador Tom Rose’s assertion, however I cannot change my place on these elementary points for Polish men and women,” he wrote on X.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk responded by saying that “allies ought to respect, not lecture, one another.”

In his reply to Tusk, the US envoy reiterated that Czarzasty’s “despicable, disrespectful and insulting comments about President Trump” may injury relations with Washington. Rose described Trump as “the best pal Poland has ever had within the White Home.”
