Regardless of the White Home confirming the authenticity of the group chat, which included US Vice President JD Vance and Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth, in addition to The Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, Hegseth insisted the officers concerned didn’t reveal any war plans or categorised info.
