Andhra govt to ban social media for children under 13

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday mentioned social media will likely be prohibited for children beneath 13 years of age throughout the subsequent 90 days within the state.

Addressing the Meeting, the Chief Minister mentioned they’re actively debating whether or not to prolong this ban to children between 13 and 16 years of age.

“Undoubtedly, we’ll ensure that inside 90 days these beneath 13 years of age usually are not in a position to use social media,” mentioned Naidu.

The CM mentioned his authorities will take a name on banning social media for youngsters between 13 and 16 years. PTI>
