Justice M Nagaprasanna, presiding over the case, criticised the “unchecked proliferation” of such clinics, notably in rural areas, stating that they pose a critical menace to public well being.
“These quacks, masquerading as docs, are placing harmless rural lives in danger by operating clinics in distant areas and deceiving sufferers,” the court docket noticed.
