New Delhi: Attempting to cut back the Non-Communicable Illness (NCD) burden in India, the Ministry of Health & Household Welfare has launched a mass screening drive to detect and diagnose all people aged 30 years and above for prevalent NCD.
Making the announcement by way of launch the ministry said, “the marketing campaign will probably be executed throughout Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs) and numerous healthcare amenities nationwide, beneath the Nationwide Programme for Prevention and Management of Non-Communicable Ailments (NP-NCD).
As per the ministry by way of the month-lengthy (Feb-March) marketing campaign, it goals to obtain 100 per cent screening of all people aged 30 years and above for prevalent NCDs, together with Diabetes, Hypertension, and three frequent cancers—Oral, Breast, and Cervical.
