A moderate-intensity earthquake, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale, struck Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi district on Sunday (April 13, 2025), officers stated.
The depth of the earthquake, which struck close to Mandi city at 9:18 a.m., was 5 km, the Met workplace stated.
The epicentre was situated at 31.49 diploma latitude and 76.94 diploma longitude within the Mandi area, it stated.
No lack of life and property was reported from any a part of the state to this point, officers stated. The Mandi district falls underneath seismic zone 5, which is a high-damage threat zone.
