The BJP has claimed that Abdul Rauf Azhar, the youthful brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar, was among the many terrorists killed as India struck terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir underneath Operation Sindoor yesterday. India yesterday launched precision airstrikes at 9 places in Pakistan and PoK in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror assault wherein 26 innocents have been murdered in chilly blood. One in all these places was the Jaish headquarters in Bahawalpur.
The BJP put out a social media publish with Abdul Rauf Azhar’s photograph and “eradicated” written on it.
Abdul Rauf Azhar, a most-wanted terrorist, was the mastermind of the hijack of Indian Airways IC 814 in Kandahar in 1999. He was concerned within the Pathankot terror assault and the 2001 assault on Parliament.

An announcement attributed to Masood Azhar had mentioned yesterday that 10 members of his household and 4 of his aides have been killed when India focused Jaish-e-Mohammed headquarters, Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, in Bahawalpur.
“Ten members of my household have been blessed with this happiness collectively tonight… 5 are harmless youngsters, my elder sister, her honorable husband. My scholar Fazil bhanje (nephew) and his spouse and my beloved scholar Fazilah (niece) … my expensive brother Huzaifah and his mom. Two extra expensive companions,” the assertion mentioned, saying that these killed have grow to be the visitors of Allah.
