A submit on social media has gone viral, purportedly of Ranya Rao, the actor who was arrested within the gold smuggling case. Following her arrest on the Kempegowda Worldwide Airpot on March 3, a photograph of her went viral on social media with swollen eyes and bruises.
The submit led to hypothesis about an alleged assault on her after her arrest. ABP Dwell couldn’t independently confirm the authenticity of the submit.
Chatting with information company ANI, chairperson for Karnataka State Fee for Ladies, Nagalakshmi Chaudhary mentioned that the panel couldn’t conduct a probe until a proper criticism was filed.

“Truly, somebody has to file a criticism with us. The Women’s Fee isn’t an authority to conduct an investigation,” she mentioned.
‘Will Act If Ranya Information Criticism’
Chaudhary condemned acts of any alleged violence towards Ranya saying, “Whoever has dedicated the assault mustn’t have performed so. That is for positive. Nobody ought to take the regulation into their palms.”
“We should permit the investigation, and the regulation will take its personal course. Nobody has the correct to assault anyone, whether or not it is a girl or anybody else, however I am completely towards that,” she added.
