CM Naidu thanks Centre for approving Tirupati-Katpadi railway line doubling project

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the Union Cupboard for approving ₹1,332 crore for the Tirupati-Katpadi railway line doubling project.

In a put up on X on Wednesday, Mr. Naidu mentioned the transformative initiative would join sacred landmarks comparable to Tirupati Balaji temple, Srikalahasti Siva temple, and the Chandragiri Fort, whereas enhancing entry to instructional and medical hubs comparable to Vellore and Tirupati.

“It would  enhance the agricultural financial system and speed up the expansion of electronics, cement, and metal industries in Andhra Pradesh. For Chittoor and Tirupati districts, this line will mark a brand new period of connectivity and progress,” he mentioned.
