NEW DELHI: Bahujan Samaj Get together (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Saturday directed her assault at chief of opposition in the Lok Sabha, for remaining silent in the course of the debate on the Waqf Modification Bill in Parliament.
In a publish on X, the previous Uttar Pradesh chief minister questioned Gandhi’s resolution to not converse on the contentious Bill, regardless of widespread opposition to it.
“Regardless of the opposition denouncing the Waqf (Modification) Bill and dubbing it as a case of flouting the Structure just like the CAA, is the choice of the LoP in Lok Sabha to not converse on the Waqf (Modification) Bill in the Home even though there was an intensive debate on the difficulty justified?” she wrote.
She added, “In any case, the Congress and the BJP are equally responsible of just about depriving the Dalits of welfare, authorities jobs, schooling by just about making the reservation rights ineffective and redundant”.
Mayawati mentioned the Bill has sparked anger amongst Muslims and frustration amongst INDIA bloc companions. She additional accused each the Congress and BJP of failing the Dalit group by rendering reservation rights ineffective and limiting entry to welfare, schooling, and authorities jobs.
