An encounter broke out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday between safety forces and ultras, stated the officers. The gunfight takes place because the safety forces undertake search operation to nab the attackers within the Pahalgam terrorist assault the killed 26 folks.
A cordon and search operation was launched by the safety forces within the Kulnar Bazipora space of Bandipora district following details about the presence of the ultras within the space, the officers stated, reported PTI.
The search operation became an encounter after the ultras opened hearth on safety personnel, they added.
No casualties have been reported up to now within the incident.
