An encounter broke out in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district on Wednesday after safety forces established contact with three terrorists, officers stated.
“Throughout a search operation by police and different safety forces, contact was established with terrorists at village Jopher within the Ramnagar police station space of Udhampur,” the Udhampur police stated on X.

Police and safety forces have been monitoring terrorists shifting from one space to a different for the previous 17 days following three encounters for the reason that operation began on March 24 within the Sanyial space of Kathua district.
Two terrorists and 4 policemen have been killed within the encounter within the space on March 27.
