Itanagar, Could 8: In a big increase to infrastructure and regional connectivity in Arunachal Pradesh, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated four strategic bridges by way of video conferencing on Could 7. The digital ceremony was held in the presence of Pongchau-Wakka MLA Honchun Ngandan.
The newly inaugurated bridges are the 110-meter span Tissa Bridge on the Pongchau-Konnu-Konsa street, the 80-meter Dri River Bridge on the Anini-Dembuen street, the 80-meter Peepani-I Bridge on the Hayuliang-Metaliang-Chaglohagam street, and the 45-meter Iripani Bridge on the Anini-Mipi street.
The occasion was attended by senior officers, together with Chief Engineer of Venture Udayak Rajiv Sharma, Commander of 48 BRTF, authorities representatives, and local people leaders.
