Shillong, Feb 24: A Particular POCSO Courtroom in West Jaintia Hills has sentenced a person to 12 years of rigorous imprisonment for sexually assaulting his 11-year-old stepdaughter and threatening her to hold silent.
The conviction was pronounced on February 24 by the Courtroom of the Particular Choose (POCSO), West Jaintia Hills, Jowai.
The accused, recognized as Duh Timung of Barato village, was discovered responsible below Part 5(m)/6 of the POCSO Act and Part 506 of the IPC.
