Boko, April 13: A younger scholar tragically took her personal life in Bihdia village of Chaygaon in Kamrup district on Friday, shortly after the results of the Excessive Faculty Leaving Certificates (HSLC) examination had been launched.
Mithali Deka, a scholar at Chaygaon Increased Secondary Faculty, reportedly grew to become distressed after the announcement of the results. Unable to instantly find her roll quantity, she requested her mom to examine the results at a neighbour’s home. Whereas her mom was away, Mithali Deka, who was residence alone, took the acute step and hanged herself.
