A 3rd US airplane arrived at Amritsar airport on Sunday evening carrying 112 Indian nationals who have been deported by the US as a part of a crackdown by the Donald Trump administration in opposition to unlawful immigrants.
The airplane arrived at Amritsar airport at 10:03 pm, reported PTI quoting sources.
Of the 112 deportees, 44 are from Haryana, 33 from Gujarat, 31 from Punjab, two from Uttar Pradesh and one every from Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh, the report added.
The deportees will likely be allowed to go residence after completion of a number of formalities together with immigration, verification and background checks.

Preparations have been made for the deportees to journey to their locations.
On Saturday, a US army plane introduced again a second batch of unlawful Indian immigrants because it landed at Amritsar airport. The C-17 plane landed on the airport at round 11:35 pm carrying 116 deportees.
Among the many 116 deportees, 65 have been from Punjab, 33 have been from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, two every from Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and Rajasthan, and one every from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir.

Most of them have been aged 18 to 30, reported PTI quoting sources.
Forward of the arrival of the second batch, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann slammed the Centre over the touchdown of the airplane in Amritsar saying to not make the holy metropolis a deportation centre.
He additionally visited the airport and mentioned his authorities has made preparations to take the Punjab residents to their hometowns.
On February 5, a US army airplane introduced again 104 unlawful Indian immigrants touchdown at Amritsar airport. Of them, 33 every have been from Haryana and Gujarat, and 30 from Punjab.
