NEW DELHI: Vishwa Hindu Parishad on Friday objected to imminent Netflix film ‘Ghooskhor Pandat’, calling the title offensive and an assault on a “most respectable phase” of society, and demanded govt motion. BJP stated govt requested the OTT platform to take away the teaser and different promotional contents of the film from social media, govt sources stated it was Netflix’s determination to take down the film’s teaser and different promotional contents. VHP nationwide spokesperson Vinod Bansal stated the title is “completely unacceptable” and alleged it might unfold hatred and unrest. Bansal requested authorities to “look into it” and seeked an apology whereas warning of democratic protests.
