The Workplace of the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama has issued a climate advisory in response to forecasts from the Indian Meteorological Division predicting heavy rainfall, lightning, hailstorms, robust winds, cloudbursts, and thunderstorms from April 18th to twentieth, 2025.

Residents of Pulwama have been urged to keep indoors except completely mandatory and train warning due to the harmful climate circumstances. Folks residing close to the Jhelum River, its tributaries, and close by streams have been particularly suggested to keep away from water our bodies and halt actions in such areas till the climate improves.
Moreover, boatmen are instructed not to try crossing the Jhelum River at ferry factors with out first confirming security circumstances.
