Cronulla and South Sydney are investigating an incident involving South Sydney’s mascot after allegations a nine-year-old was pushed within the face at Shark Park.
The membership’s official mascot Charlie Gallico, or “Reggie The Rabbit” as he is identified, was accused of pushing the boy on Saturday, when the Rabbitohs misplaced to the Sharks, in keeping with The Sydney Morning Herald.
Sharks and Rabbitohs officers each confirmed they had been conscious of the incident.

A video posted on TikTok captured an incident the place the mascot approaches a younger Sharks fan.
“We’re investigating what occurred and may have no additional remark to make till our investigation is full,” the Rabbitohs mentioned in a press release.
“Now we have reached out to the boy’s mom to let her know we shall be investigating the incident.”

The investigation reportedly began after a social media put up from the child’s mom accused Gallico of the assault.
Cronulla had been contacted earlier than info was handed on to the Rabbitohs and NRL.
