Lane Hutson capped an unbelievable rookie season with some extra milestones in his staff’s closing sport.
The Montreal Canadiens star moved right into a tie for probably the most assists by a rookie defenceman in NHL historical past when he picked up a helper on Kaiden Guhle’s second aim Wednesday towards the Carolina Hurricanes.
Hutson tied Corridor of Famer Larry Murphy with 60 assists.

Hutson has performed an enormous half in turning across the Canadiens this season. The Holland, Mich., native appeared in all 82 video games for Montreal this season and is third on the staff in scoring behind solely captain Nick Suzuki and main goal-scorer Cole Caufield.
