The Calgary Flames assigned veteran defenceman Tyson Barrie to the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League, the group introduced on Friday.
Barrie was eligible to be despatched down after he cleared waivers earlier within the day.
The 33-year-old from Victoria signed a one-year contract with the Flames forward of the common season after he was granted an expert tryout.
He has performed in solely 13 video games with the membership and registered one aim and two assists.
Barrie additionally has one aim and two assists in two video games with the Wranglers this season.
He has collected 508 factors (110 objectives and 398 assists) in 822 profession video games over 14 seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, Toronto Maple Leafs, Edmonton Oilers, Nashville Predators and Flames.
