The Seattle Seahawks have traded two-time Professional Bowl wideout DK Metcalf to the Steelers for a second-round draft choose, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported on Sunday.
Metcalf, 27, can also be reportedly signing a brand new five-year, $150-million contract along with his new group.
After recording over 1,000 receiving yards in consecutive seasons and showing within the 2023 Professional Bowl, Metcalf took a step again in 2024 with 66 catches for 992 yards and 6 touchdowns. He handled a knee damage that held him out of two video games and restricted him in others as Seattle missed the playoffs for a second straight 12 months.
The six-foot-four pass-catcher reportedly requested a trade on Wednesday and the Seahawks agreed to discover choices.
Metcalf had 438 catches for six,324 yards and 48 touchdowns in six seasons with Seattle.
