Waaree Energies will set up India’s largest built-in lithium-ion battery gigafactory in Andhra Pradesh.
The venture might be established at Rambilli in Anakapalli district with an funding of ₹8,175 crore and is anticipated to generate round 3,000 direct jobs.
The greenfield facility could have a capability of 16 GWh and can cowl the whole battery worth chain, together with cell manufacturing, battery packs and large-scale Battery Power Storage Techniques (BESS).
The venture has obtained in-principle approval from the Andhra Pradesh State Funding Promotion Board, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.
