FMCG main Nestle India Ltd on Thursday reported a decline of 6.5 per cent in consolidated web profit at ₹873.46 crore for the March quarter of 2024-25.
The corporate had posted a web profit of ₹934.17 crore within the January-March interval a 12 months in the past, Nestle India stated in a regulatory submitting.
Nestle India’s income from the sale of merchandise was up 3.67 per cent to ₹5,447.64 crore within the March quarter. It was at ₹5,254.43 crore within the corresponding interval of the final fiscal 12 months.
Within the March quarter, whole bills of Nestle India have been at ₹4,307.76 crore.
Nestle India’s home gross sales have been up 4.24 per cent to ₹5,234.98 crore, as in opposition to ₹5,021.61 crore within the corresponding interval of the January-March quarter.
The corporate’s exports have been down 8.65 per cent to ₹212.66 crore.
“This quarter we witnessed double-digit development in Drinks and Confectionery, with 3 out of 4 product teams delivering wholesome development. Our home gross sales crossed the ₹5,235-crore mark, the best ever in any quarter supported by bettering quantity development,” Nestle India Chairman and Managing Director Suresh Narayanan stated.
Shares of Nestle India have been buying and selling at Rs 2,425.15, down 0.37 per cent at BSE.
