Zomato on Thursday mentioned that the Ministry of Company Affairs, has authorised its rebranding from “Zomato Restricted” to “Eternal Restricted”, with impact from March 20. Earlier this month it had additionally received the shareholder approval.
In a BSE submitting, it mentioned , “The name of the Firm, thus, stands amended to “Eternal Restricted” with impact from March 20, 2025, and the Memorandum and Articles of Affiliation of the Firm stands altered to the extent of the change of name of the Firm.”

The corporate had earlier mentioned this rebranding is in step with its technique to transfer past meals delievery. In his letter to shareholders, Deepinder Goyal, Founder & CEO, Zomato had in February shared that internally the corporate has been utilizing the model name“ Eternal” as an alternative of Zomato put up the acquisition of Blinkit to distinguish it from the meals supply app.
