Shillong, Could 6: Beginning with the 2026-27 educational session, college students searching for admission to undergraduate programs in authorities schools throughout Meghalaya may have to apply completely by way of the Meghalaya Frequent Admission Portal (MCAP).
A notification issued by the Commissioner & Secretary in-charge Training Vijay Kumar Mantri on Wednesday stated, “The Governor of Meghalaya is happy to notify that, with impact from the educational session 2026-27, all admissions to Authorities Schools in the State shall be performed completely by way of the Meghalaya Frequent Admission Portal (MCAP).”
“All eligible college students searching for admission to undergraduate programmes in Authorities Schools should apply solely by way of MCAP, and no admissions shall be processed exterior this centralized portal,” it stated.
