Ten individuals had been killed in a tragic highway accident on the Sisaiya-Lakhimpur Nationwide Freeway, located between the villages of Unchgaon and Bharehta in Lakhimpur Kheri district. The van transporting passengers from Lakhimpur to Sisaiya collided head-on with a truck travelling in the other way. All 9 passengers aboard the van, alongside with the driving force, perished in the accident.
A college instructor returning to work, a younger engineer getting ready to depart for a job in the Gulf, and a every day wage laborer supporting his struggling household had been among the many ten people who misplaced their lives, leaving households throughout three districts devastated.
Uttar Pradesh BJP president and Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary expressed grief over the accident. “The lack of life in the highway accident in Lakhimpur Kheri district is deeply saddening. My deepest condolences are with the bereaved households. I pray to God to present place to the departed souls in his ft and supply energy to the bereaved households in tough occasions and speedy restoration to the injured,” he wrote on X.
