Gachibowli police have arrested a supply executive in reference to the abetment of suicide of a 23-year-old lady who died in a co-living hostel in Gachibowli.
The arrest follows a criticism lodged on Saturday by Devarampally Ravi Kumar concerning the loss of life of his niece, Molli Durga, who was residing at Elite Co-Dwelling Hostel.
In response to the criticism, Durga was in a relationship with Sai Kumar Posti, a supply executive, and the couple regularly quarrelled over his alleged harassment and irresponsible behaviour. Police mentioned that on the evening of June 5, an argument reportedly broke out between the 2 over his alcohol consumption.
Following the quarrel, Durga allegedly jumped from the hostel constructing at round 10 p.m., sustaining extreme accidents. She was rushed to a personal hospital, the place docs declared her useless. The complainant alleged that steady harassment by the accused had pushed the lady to take the intense step and sought authorized motion towards him.
After analyzing the criticism and conducting a preliminary investigation, police registered a case and arrested Sai Kumar Posti on expenses of abetment of suicide. The accused is being produced earlier than a courtroom for judicial remand.
