New Delhi: Central meals regulator FSSAI has requested states to fill current vacancies on the earliest for strengthening enforcement actions and guaranteeing secure meals to shoppers.
Meals Security and Requirements Authority of India (FSSAI) CEO Rajit Punhani has directed states and UTs to “expedite the recruitment of Meals Security Officers (FSOs) and Designated Officers (DOs) and fill current vacancies to strengthen field-level regulatory capability and scale up meals security enforcement throughout the nation”.
