NEW YORK — The Atlanta Braves positioned Spencer Strider on the 15-day injured checklist with right elbow inflammation Saturday, lower than 24 hours after the right-hander left his begin towards the New York Mets.
Supervisor Walt Weiss stated Strider was flying again to Atlanta to bear an MRI. He added that Strider stated the discomfort was extra in his elbow than in his shoulder.
“We’ll have extra data — perhaps later immediately or within the morning,” Weiss stated earlier than the center sport of the three-game collection towards the Mets.
