Kohima, June 20: Nagaland Faculty Training Advisor Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome on Saturday inaugurated a brand new futsal courtroom at D. Khel Floor in Kohima Village and distributed agricultural tools to native farmers, underscoring a twin deal with youth improvement and rural livelihoods.
The futsal courtroom, constructed below the Iconic Venture 2025-26 of the Native Space Development Programme (LADP), is predicted to offer the youth of Dapfhütsumia Khel with a contemporary sporting facility for coaching and aggressive actions.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yhome stated the state authorities is investing Rs 2.20 crore per constituency by the LADP and Iconic Venture schemes, stressing that improvement initiatives in a resource-constrained state like Nagaland must be need-based and pushed by grassroots coordination.
He lauded the Iconic Venture Committee and the Village Adoption Committee for efficiently implementing the undertaking and inspired younger sportspersons to make full use of the power to domesticate self-discipline, teamwork and excellence.

In a parallel initiative geared toward strengthening the agricultural sector, Dr. Yhome distributed energy tillers, brush cutters, water pumps and paddy threshers to farmers. He stated the tools would assist scale back guide labour, enhance farm effectivity and improve productiveness.
Welcoming the initiatives, D. Khel Council Chairman Keneizezo Yiese described the tasks as important investments in each the district’s youth and farming group. Neilakuolie Yiese of the Farmers Wing, tenth Northern Angami Meeting Constituency, additionally addressed the gathering.
