Srirangapatna: Demanding for free toll passage, farmers held a protest in opposition to Nationwide Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in entrance of Ganangur Toll Plaza on Mysuru-Bengaluru Freeway on Tuesday.
The joint protest was held by State Farmers Affiliation Federation, Karnataka State Sugarcane Growers Affiliation, Professional-Kannada Associations and Dalit Sangharsha Samithi (DSS). Following the protest, the toll assortment was affected for almost three hours.
