JOWAI, MAY 10: The Nationwide Folks’s Women’s Entrance, West Jaintia Hills Unit, on Sunday honoured 111 women for their service to society at a Mother’s Day-cum-felicitation programme, calling their contribution an important a part of society’s progress.
The programme, held to honour women and moms who’ve served the general public and labored onerous for the welfare of society, was chaired by NPWF West Jaintia Hills Chairperson Lily Phawa.
Chief Visitor Octomewot Lamin, Nominated MDC and NPP State Working President and Visitor of honour Reformingson Lamare, MDC of seven Nartiang-Wahiajer felicitated the women.
