The WNBA and NBA formally authorised the sale of the Connecticut Sun to Houston Rockets proprietor Tilman J. Fertitta on Wednesday. The workforce will relocate to Houston for the 2027 season and be renamed the Houston Comets, after the town’s authentic WNBA franchise.
