The nation’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India Ltd on Wednesday mentioned it has dedicated Rs 1,372 crore in direction of devoted green logistics infrastructure, because it goals to enhance share of rail-based automobile dispatches to 35 per cent by 2030-31.

Going ahead, Takeuchi mentioned, “We intention to enhance the share of rail-based automobile dispatches to 35 per cent by FY2030-31 and plan to set up an in-plant siding at our new Kharkhoda facility.” This could additional assist cut back carbon footprint, decrease gas consumption, and ease general street congestion, he added.
