New York: A Los Angeles jury on Friday sided with Johnson & Johnson in a lawsuit by the households of three girls who alleged that the corporate’s talc merchandise caused ovarian cancer, discovering that J&J was not negligent when promoting beauty talc merchandise.
The lawsuit was filed by the households of Mary Owens, Bonnie Tienken and Geneva Williams, who every died of ovarian cancer after utilizing talc-based child powder.
Greater than 67,000 plaintiffs have sued J&J, alleging that its child powder and different talc merchandise trigger ovarian cancer.
