NEW DELHI: The finance ministry on Sunday issued notification on obligation concessions on Omani items below commerce pact with India, which is able to come into impact from June 1.
The India-Oman Complete Financial Partnership Settlement (CEPA) was signed in Dec final 12 months. “Supplied that the (obligation) exemption shall be accessible provided that the importer proves to the satisfaction of the deputy commissioner of customs or assistant commissioner of customs, because the case could also be, that the products in respect of which the advantage of this exemption is claimed are of the origin of the Sultanate of Oman,” the finance ministry notification mentioned.
India is providing obligation concessions on 77.8% of its whole tariff traces (12,556), which covers 94.8% of India’s imports from Oman by worth. Businesses
